The State Farm Companies Foundation Scholarship is for students who plan to attend either a college, university, technical, or vocational school and who cannot fund their higher education without aid.
Specifically, this program is for students who may not qualify for other scholarships, but who demonstrate financial need. To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be be high school seniors who will graduate at the end of the academic year. Students must plan to enroll as a full-time student in a college or university four or two year , vocational school, or technical school in the school year. Finally, to be eligible, students must demonstrate financial need. Only those who advance in the competition will be notified and receive materials from National Merit Scholarship Corporation.
Who is Eligible? Children or legal dependents of a State Farm associate employee, agent, or retiree , including step-children and foster children. Who is eligible? Step-children and foster children are also eligible. The children of agents' staff are not eligible to participate in this scholarship program, as well as grandchildren of agents, retirees, and company employees.
Parental employment is one factor in a student's eligibility to participate in the State Farm Companies Foundation Scholarship Program.
